The WPRA played host to the Babyboks this week for what was described by the players as an “Awsome Experience”.
Organised to be a good test and training game for the junior Boks squad who are preparing for the Worl Rugby Junior World Championship this year, the WPRA fielded a squad to play 4 chukas against the Babyboks in what turned out to be an ideal way for the Bok management and coaching staff to assess and test the squad combinations and plays against a WPRA side that certainly fronted up to the SA players and tested every aspect of the boks play. This kind of experience is a fantastic learning experience for the WPRA players as they continue on their quest to develop as players and professionals.
The game was played at a high intensity, in an exciting, physical and good sportsmans like spirit, with the WPRA players relishing their opportunity to match themselves against the best the country has to offer in junior rugby. We are honored to have hosted @bokrugby today and wish them all the best going into the world rugby junior championship in June.
